Poetry - Lyrics for music - HURRICANE

I've been writing many lyrics throughout the years.

It's all about emotions, passion, love, desire, hunger, sometimes lots of humor.

I would love to collaborate.

My goal is to get in touch with musicians feeling the same way.

So feel free to contact me if you're able to help me out.

HURRICANE ( STEF KESTENS)

The rain came down
And washed away the love I felt inside
I think I’ve seen the devil’s face
A monster’s heart, a big disgrace

He ripped me off and darkened
All the colors of my skin
He turned me into black and blue
And faded precious hearts I drew

BRIDGE

All what’s left is one desire
Bursting into silent tears
Crying out to find a reason
Maybe I should disappear

CHORUS

Hurricane, you hit me
Broke my heart and stole my pride
The devil’s always with me
Ain’t no mountain left to climb

Hurricane, you hurt me
Filled my soul with loneliness
The wicked thing about me
Is I cannot fight distress

My hope is gone
And faded dreams won’t keep my heart alive
I think the devil knows my name
His crazy laughs drive me insane

He shook me up and echoed
All those words I didn’t mean
I’m so afraid of going mad
He’s tangled up inside my head

BRIDGE + CHORUS

The rain came down
And washed away
Some beauty from within

I’m ugly and my sky turned grey
Competing is a sin, I’ll never ever win
